The Foxhole
2023-2024 designs and custom promotional material
Interior Design
In early 2023, I had the privilege to be half of the creative team for the Foxhole remodel in downtown Bellingham. The walk-up bar served unusual, original cocktails with an absinthe focus and prioritized making space for the queer community. The aesthetic goal was victorian-era gothic apothecary-meets-moody euro pub.
Light design, art curation, color palette design and textile selections were all part of my repertoire, but my main focus were the large-scale mosaics found around the front of the bar which I designed and masoned. All tasks were budgeted while making as few aesthetic sacrifices as possible. Many items were obtained second-hand including the mosaics which were made using found materials and second-hand tiles.

Menu Copy & Design
Our cocktails were crafted by our small team of talented bartenders and myself. We rolled out partial menu changes bi-annually. Special menus or menu additions were designed for each event.
